Beading is one of the mostpopular hobbies. The methods of connecting beads together are called weaving techniques. There are many such techniques, several basic ones and a huge number of original ones. One of the basic ones is the technique of parallel bead weaving. A large number of jewelry, toys and other items are created with beads, the process of their creation can often be found on video, but you can fully understand the subtleties only by creating the chosen product with your own hands.

Parallel Weaving Technology

Parallel beading consists ofcreating relatively short parallel rows, often fastened together only at the beginning and end. According to the pattern, a certain number of beads are strung onto the wire. Then the ends of the wires should pass through the beads towards each other. Beading in parallel rows is very convenient for beginners:

  • Quick execution and simple reading of the circuit;
  • Even an inexperienced master can follow exactly the pattern;
  • There is an opportunity to use a different size and even a class of beads.

You can use the technique of parallel weaving in long rows, but then you should additionally fix every few beads to the beads of the previous row.
The finished product is usually not visible in the photo,how exactly the beads are fixed - only by the edge or every 2-3 beads, but the formed parallel rows and the relief of the beads are clearly visible. Beginners are often recommended to make a flower using parallel weaving. The simplest flowers with thin multi-colored leaves require a small amount of material and stimulate the imagination. You can choose the type of flower according to your bead stock.

Tulip from beads in the technique of parallel weaving

How to create a tulip using parallel weaving of beads?

Master class on parallel bead weavingIt is better to start with the technique and weaving patterns. The weaving pattern is shown to indicate the number of beads in each row, but the color combination can be determined independently, depending on personal preferences or available beads.
The main thing in parallel weaving is to maintain symmetry and keep the center line straight.

We string 3 beads on the wire and align themin the center of a piece of wire. We put 5 beads on one side and pass the second end of the wire through them in the opposite direction. So from the second row the ends of the wire will stick out in different directions. In the next one we collect 7 beads, then - 9. The following 4 rows of 10 beads, then we begin to decrease - 8 beads and 6. Each row must be slightly pulled after completion, achieving adjoining one row to another, but not allowing them to tighten. In this case, the color scheme of the petal, and therefore the color of the future tulip, depends entirely on the master.
The leaf for the tulip needs to be made of greenbeads. From the first row, starting with 1 bead, increase the number by 1 in each, bringing it to 8 beads. 8 rows string 8 beads, in the next row we string 7 beads, then 5, and at the end - 3.
When 6 petals and 2 leaves are ready, we beginassembly. Beading involves the creation of both very simple and surprisingly complex elements. The center of the flower is a fairly simple product, and there are quite a few options for its manufacture.
We string 6 black beads and close them inring. For each bead we fasten a loop of long wire, on which a yellow bead is fastened. The loop is twisted and the bead does not fall down. - these are stamens. The pistil is woven from 4 beads on the same elongated loop. The formed middle is inserted inside between the petals. Each petal is attached to the outer row, due to which it is slightly pulled together. The pulled petals bend slightly, which allows you to form the correct flower head.
So that even on video your product looksneat, you should bend the petals with the same tension. The base of the flower should be wrapped with colored paper or thread. Under it, hide the wire tails from each petal and leaf.
Parallel bead weaving is characterized by the fact that the desired figure often turns out beautiful and recognizable, even with minor errors in color and number of rows.
