Blanket "Village sorrows" -work by Anna Ratova. Blanket size: 120 x 160 cm. All the squares of this blanket are identical. After assembly, they form a geometric pattern framed by a border of plain stripes. The blanket is knitted according to the description in the magazine. correspond to the photo:MATERIALS: Yarn:twisted semi-wool Colour A - multi-coloured thread (650g) Colour B - lavender (390g) Colour C - light lilac (390g) Colour D - khaki (114g) Hook: No. 4.25. Additional: yarn needle. FEATURE: Sample: 3 loops = 2.5 cm; square 20 x 20 cm. Basic loops: chain (air loops), double column (double crochet), slip stitch (slip loop). ♦      An initial chain of 3 ch of each row counts as one double column. ♦      When starting or finishing knitting a new thread, leave a tail 20 cm long so that you can use it to sew the squares together later. ♦      When sewing the squares, fold their edges together end to end. Sew with the remaining thread in the same color. The stitches are placed alternately at the edge of each square. Rows 12–13: Continue inc 4 double sts in each row. Finish. Square 2 (24 pieces). Repeat Square 1 to Row 11. Start with Colour C and continue as per Square 1 pattern. Assembling Squares Row A (4 pieces): Sew 6 squares together, alternating Squares 1 and 2. Solid stripes should be on left and bottom. Row B (4 pieces): Sew 6 squares together, alternating Squares 2 and 1. Solid stripes should be on left and bottom. Sew 8 rows together, alternating Rows A and B. Blanket Binding: Row 1: Colour D. Join yarn at corner. Chain 3, dc in corner, dc in each dc to next corner, *[2 dc, chain 3, 2 dc] in corner, dc in each dc to end*. Repeat between * 3 times, [2 dc, chain 3] into corner, slip st into chain 3. Finish off. Turn. Row 2: Color C, join yarn in corner and repeat edge row 1. Finish off. Turn.
