How to make flowers from wood? Only with your own hands!Having become familiar with this material, you will learn how to make flower arrangements from wood, which will be one of the elements of topiary. Before starting work, you need to prepare the following tools and consumables: sharpener; brush; scissors; paints (watercolor); packaging (wrapping) paper; glue; paper; plaster or clay; linen or regular threads; several branches of your favorite tree; sisal; pieces of cinnamon (in sticks - 1 pc.).
1. Подготовим ветки.Using pruning shears, carefully, so as not to break them, cut off branches from the tree you like. For our example, we took branches from an apple tree and a birch. Try to choose branches that are as thick as a pencil. It is better to cut one branch at a time, otherwise, if you cut several branches at once, they may dry out and then you will not be able to make flowers. 2. Take a well-sharpened knife and remove the bark from the branches, sharpening the edge like a pencil. 3. Make roses from wood. Using a pencil sharpener, begin to remove shavings from the branches, which will curl like a rose. If the curling does not occur as desired, you can slightly correct the shavings. For the next flower, do not forget to pre-cut the sharp edge of the branch, and then do everything as described above. Choose the "splendor" of each rose yourself.
4. Coloring of flowers.Choose the most pleasant shade for you from the watercolor paints and paint our roses in it. Before this, we advise you to practice on extra wood shavings, because the watercolor will change its color a little on wood. Do not forget to give them time to dry after painting the roses. In principle, painting the flowers is not necessary and is left to your discretion. 5. Form the base of our tree. Prepare paper and threads in advance (in this example, we used green). Crumpling the paper with your hands, form a ball of the required size (for example, we got a ball 3.5 centimeters in diameter). After that, wrap it with threads and make a hole in it with some sharp object, for example, scissors. Take cinnamon (a stick and grease its edge with a little glue). Then pour a little glue into the hole of the ball and insert the cinnamon there.
6. Putting it all together.First, glue the cut-out roses to the paper ball. You can place bunches of threads or sisal in the spaces between the flowers. 7. Decorating a flower pot. In our example, a plastic cup was used as a pot. You can choose other items at your discretion, such as a ceramic cup or a wooden pot. The glass should be wrapped on the outside with colored paper, making small folds for greater elegance. Use glue to fix the paper. Then wrap the pot with linen thread.
8.Fixing our composition Soak the plaster or clay until it becomes soft. Put this mass in a glass and then slowly insert the cinnamon stick, making sure it does not break. Wait until the clay or plaster dries, and then you can paint it or decorate it, for example, with moss.
