Pockets for cutlery with their own hands
Cutlery, wooden spoons, ladles,Skimmers and spatulas can be turned into original kitchen decor in an apartment, country house or summer cottage instead of hiding them in kitchen drawers. To store them, we will make cute cutlery pockets from kitchen towels and cutting boards with our own hands.
To make pockets for canteensdevices, you will need: a wooden cutting board with a hole for hanging, a piece of linen fabric, ribbon or tape, scissors, a furniture stapler and a glue gun.
Take linen fabric in a cheerful color.Kitchen towels or woven napkins with patterns and designs are suitable for this purpose. Cut a rectangle a couple of centimeters larger than the size of the board.
Place the cut rectangle face down on the bottom edge of the board. Fold the edges of the fabric under and staple the bottom of the pocket 1 cm from the edges of the board.
Carefully fold the fabric to the top of the board, continuing to staple the folded sides. Remember that the pocket should fit items, so do not pull the sides too tightly.
We mask the staples with tape or braid using a glue gun. The pocket for the devices is ready!
