Let's consider two paper products that are simple in terms of manufacturing technology, but create a special field of attraction, bringing comfort, luck, goodwill and understanding of each other. 1. Chinese lanterns. a) Prepare the paper. It is best to take colored paper with a pattern applied to it. Both factory sketches and self-made images will do. b) From the tools you need to have at hand a ruler, a paper knife (you can just take scissors), and a riveting machine (of course, you can use a simple stapler, but the effect of the product will be reduced).
c) Having decided on the size of the lantern, cut the paper into strips of the appropriate length. d) Connect the paper strips at both ends with rivets.
d) Distribute all the strips evenly around the circle, bending them slightly to create volume in the object.
In fact, the Chinese lantern is ready.
Having made several of these products, adjusting themsize, you can create a small garland, to one of the edges of which you can attach a bell. The gift to your friend is ready! At the time of gifting, it remains to wish that the bell protects from evil slander and unfriendly looks. By fixing only one end, you can get an original lampshade. 2. Paper box. a) For this craft, it is best to use double-sided colored paper. Having connected the smaller side with the larger one, we determine the dimensions of the blank of the future product. In shape, it should be a square. We remove the excess edges. The final dimensions of the box depend on the diagonal of the blank (they will be four times smaller). b) After the first step, in fact, we have a square with a marked diagonal. Having connected the other two opposite edges, we mark the second diagonal. We sequentially bend all its vertices to the center of the square. Then we straighten the sheet again. In fact, the folds determine some lines of the square we have.c) Considering that each corner of the square forms a triangle with a line parallel to the diagonals, we then bend the corners to the middles of such lines.
d) At the next stage, we bend the corners to the middles of the opposite sides of “our” triangles.
d) We make the necessary cuts.e) Once again, we send the two corners to the center, and connect the resulting folds together.
g) By tucking in the remaining corners, we complete the production.To complete the process, we create a lid forbox, and decorate the walls with something (beads, ribbons, flowers, applique and much more). Such a box can be supplied with additional attachments. So, for a craftswoman, you can put an embroidery kit, threads, ribbons, hooks, beads in it.
