Polymer clay is an amazing material, you can make hand-made articles and beautiful ornaments from your hands. in this master class with a photo describes the process of creating a hairpin with pink flowers.
Amazing flowers are obtained when working withpolymer clay. This unique material allows you to create flowers of any configuration in bright colors, close to natural colors. A master class with step-by-step photos will help you create flowers with your own hands, which can decorate not only hair clips, but also rims, bags, etc. Materials: - baked polymer clay of green, pink and light pink color; - artificial stamens with yellow tips; - strong universal adhesive; - metal clip-crocodile length of 5 cm. Tools: - dots with a ball 5 mm; - an acrylic rolling pin or a glass cylindrical object; - a model knife; - mold with sheet texture; - the universal stack; - wadding; - paper; - medical gloves. Stages of work: 1. For the colors of this hairpin, it is desirable to take two or three shades of pink clay, so that the bouquet looks nicer. Take a small part of the clay in different shades of pink and mash it to make the clay become supple.
2. From pink pieces of clay, make oblong oval blanks at least 1 cm in length. All you need is 12 pieces of different shades. 3. Each long part is flattened with your fingers and slightly pull down one end to make it narrower.
4. Put flat, narrowed blanks of petals on your palm. Then moisten with water and press down on them all the petals. Now they will have a characteristic concave shape.
5. A piece of pink clay rolled in the form of an oval and to its end, stick the three petals overlapping each other. You should have a closed bud.
6. Keep making buds in the same way. The result should be three or four buds of different shades.
7. For the opened colors, petals form similarly to petals of buds, only slightly larger. The hairpin will fit approximately 5 colors, each of which will consist of 5 petals.
8. These petals, too, press down the dots on the palm of your hand, and their upper edges slightly pinch to make them look slightly sharp.
9. Next you need a toothpick, a narrow stack or an awl. Its end is covered with pink clay.
10. By the end of the awl, clad with clay, stick the five petals so that they go over each other and form an open flower.
11. Remove the flower from the awl and repeat this procedure to create several more flowers. Some flowers can be made half-closed.
12. Next you need to thinly roll out the green clay. If you do not have a special acrylic rolling pin, then you can use a glass bottle or another glass vessel shaped like a cylinder.
13. The size of the leaves should be slightly larger than the size of the flowers. Cut them with a knife from green clay, the shape can choose the one you like, in this case, the leaves are oval and pointed end.
14. Also cut out the strip from the green layer. Its width should be the same as the width of your zakolochki, and the length of the strip make a little less length of the crocodile.
15. Arrange the strip on the barrette so that the tip of the barrette, which you need to hold while using it, remains open. The hairpin prikolite to the paper so that it does not fall on its side.
16. Leaves do not yet have veins, so you need to make them. Here you can use different methods. The easiest way to pin each leaf to a special mold. But if it is not, you can press the veins on the leaves with a needle.
17. Consider that the leaves should not be flat, they are slightly curved in nature, so your leaves should also be slightly bent and in some places stretch the edges.
18. Stick the largest leaves to the green surface of the barrette tightly to each other.
19. Buds stick together on the narrow end of the crocodile. With one or two leaves, close the tufts of the buds. 20. In order not to crumple the flowers during placement on the barrette, insert the stack inside the flower into the core itself.
21. Carefully stick the flower to the barrette and take out the stack. Repeating the same actions, stick the other flowers, forming a bouquet. Small leaves can be stuck between them. To keep the bouquet well kept in shape while baking, place the pieces of a paper napkin or cotton wool on the edges of the hairpins under the bouquet elements and send the bobbin to bake in accordance with the instructions in the clay instruction.
22. When the flowers completely cool, just remove the bouquet from the barrette. He will be removed easily, since he was not glued to it. And then degrease the hairpin with a hairpin and the underside of the flowers.
23. Lubricate the crocodile with glue and put a bouquet of flowers on it to the same place where it was located during baking.
24. From artificial flower stamens, make bunches of 10-15 pieces, cut off the underside to shorten them, and glue bundles of stamens inside the opened flowers, using any quick-drying glue.
