Pop Tree !: a modern artificial Christmas tree to save space
Pop Tree is a modern odea long-standing tradition of New Year's holidays - the Christmas tree. It is an alternative to a living coniferous tree, with an improved artistic construction and design, which can take on different appearances.Inspired by Japanese origami and volumetricpaper crafts, the Pop Tree is meant to be simple, uncomplicated and beautiful. Made from recycled chipboard and birch plywood, the unfolded Pop Tree brings life to a flat, unnoticeable object.
This plywood tree is a practical option forpeople living in small spaces. The tree is easy to assemble, store and takes up very little space when installed, because it is hung on the wall in the corner. The idea of creating such an alternative to the tree came to several artists from California. The shape of the tree is designed in a computer program, and then the laser accurately and neatly cuts the specified shape from a sheet of plywood.
Different sizes, shapes and colorsavailable for order, a limited batch of ready-made Christmas trees made of plywood have already gone on sale in the United States. We should be more interested in how to make such a tree with your own hands. Without the use of lasers and computer technology, such a tree can be cut out of thick double cardboard yourself, using the photo above as a diagram.
