Psycho-wardrobe: ordered chaos
An original and unusual creation by the designerVivian Chiu, not immediately clear at first glance. Behind the chaotic square and rectangular projections, it is difficult to guess the wardrobe - chest of drawers, called Psych, that is, Psychological, although as for me, the diminutive name Psycho would suit it better! This is what a non-standard chest of drawers looks like with the doors closed. And if you open them, then... …the purpose of the protrusions on becomes clearon the outside of the cabinet doors - for regular drawers. Thus, the Psych cabinet is quite roomy and spacious, equipped with a system of open shelves of various sizes, as well as built-in drawers in the doors. The designer used several types of wood to make the cabinet: regular plywood, poplar, walnut, cherry, cedar and even mahogany. And some drawers have their own longhistory. Once part of other desks and chests of drawers, they have now found a new life in new furniture. Similar concept of rescuing drawers for new interior items. Photos from vivianchiudesigns.
