The size of the cut depends on the width of the window and the desired length of the curtains. ⇒ Step 2. Take a cup, glass or jar of suitable diameter. Put the felt on a flat surface and circle the contour of the container with a pencil. To save fabric, the second circle draws close to the first, the third - to the second, and so on. The second row of circles is also drawn close to the first row, and the circles of the upper row are better placed in the notches formed by the circles of the lower row, again to save tissue. If you do not need to save fabric, then cut the felt into a strip. Each strip is folded four times, fastened with pins, then circle the contour of the glass and cut. So you get four circles at once, which will save you time. Another option how to do just two curtains from the cut fabric we will consider in the next paragraph. ⇒ Step 3. Cut out all the drawn circles. Do not worry if they turn out not ideal, because this curtain is handmade. ⇒ Step 4. Put the circles in rows. The length of the row will depend on the width of your curtains. ⇒ Step 5. Start to sew a number of circles. You can do this manually, but you can sew on a sewing machine, which will be much faster. When the longitudinal rows are ready, sew them into one sheet. ⇒ Step 6. It remains to attach the curtains to the cornice. You can use Velcro, rings or loops from the braid. Done! Some tips: you do not need to use a circle shape and one color. You can experiment with a color solution, building gradients of shades or forming a color pattern. Also, you can combine rows of circles of different diameters or cut instead of circles ovals, rhombuses, flowers or butterflies.
