There may be several goals: Some need such a wreath in order to completely create a beautiful and successful atmosphere for a holiday in their own home. Others use this wreath in order to make a beautiful and successful solution for a gift to their friends. The wreath looks very colorful, and also does not require the master to have a thorough command of quilling and applique techniques. Materials for applique postcards In order to form your own wreath, you should prepare special materials with which we will work. In fact, these materials differ only in the presence of a quilling tool, the entire basic set - consists of conventional applique methods. In addition, you can replace the quilling tool with an ordinary toothpick, in the middle of which you need to make a special hole through which our paper will be threaded.

Preparing the base For work you may needspecial paper designed for quilling. Ordinary origami paper can also be used. If you do not have this paper, it is enough to use colored paper - it should have dense properties and be colored on both sides. Strips of 21-27 centimeters in length are formed from the paper. The width of the strips is from 3 millimeters to 15 millimeters.You need to take a strip, also a canvas and wind itpaper coils using a quilling tool. When the roll diameter reaches 4 mm, you can remove it from the toothpick and then roll it up with your hands. You need to hold the craft with your fingers. This is necessary so that the paper strip does not unravel. The roller will be denser. After the paper strip is rolled up, you can loosen it a little by relaxing your fingers. Then, attach the tip of each strip with PVA glue.The workpiece must be compressed using your fingers andget the necessary forms of blanks. We form a basic set of figures. Let's prepare flowers for our postcard. First, we need to make perpendicular cuts on our paper. then, glue along the edges with glue, using a strip of contrasting paper (the center of the flower). After that, winding the prepared versions of the strips, the petals will be able to straighten out. After that, we need to start creating a wreath.Forming flowers Let's form flowers.To do this, you need to cut green paper into strips 2 centimeters long and 15 millimeters wide. After that, the strips need to be folded in half. Then, you need to cut off the corner (sharp) - from the folded side. To secure the special paper, use a tool or a toothpick. Use cuts for the tape from the side of the folded perimeter. You need to make cuts so that they are parallel to each other. A distance of 2 millimeters will be enough. It is very important that the cuts do not reach the edges from a third of the width of the strip folded in half. After that, when you reach the bottom of the strip, you need to make a cut in the corner. Next, you need to secure the sharp end of the strip with a cut toothpick, and also wind the strips, holding them with your fingers. The needles will come out to the sides. Wind the paper to the end until you secure its ends with glue. The flower is removed from the toothpick and straightened.Forming a wreath You need to make this amountflowers, which is suitable for covering the oval of the future craft. Now, let's make the candle flame. Stripes 3 millimeters wide. We use a winding tool for this, as well as winding paper tape, using a finger. When you wind the tape into a special roller, you need to remove it from the tool and let your craft straighten out. We fix the end with glue. Next, the roller is compressed on one side using two fingers. This is necessary for the "Drop" shape. Next, bend the end and get the shape of a tongue of flame.Now, we form candles from white papercolors. To do this, you need to make triangles measuring 7.5 by 10 centimeters, also using a tube 5 millimeters thick. We fix the edge of the sheet of paper with glue. Remove the tube. Next, prepare the flower petals - we will need narrow strips of paper 3 millimeters wide. You need to use a needle with a general-purpose eye to wind tight rollers, threading the edges of the tape through the needle (its eye).We remove the roller.We give the blank a funnel shape using a pencil. Next, you need to flatten it with two fingers so that the base of the roller is in the shape of an oval. Next, glue the leaves in the amount of five pieces - we get a version of the flower. The center of the flower is formed from strips of paper by 3 millimeters. We remove the roller from the needle and attach it to the center of the flower.We have the blanks, now we need to take the cardboardbase for the postcard and glue each item into the hole of the oval, for yellow paper. Next, glue the green flowers inside the oval. The candles need to be tried on and the edges cut diagonally. We form the flowers around the oval. We try on the candles, glue them diagonally. Flatten the candles, and also glue them to the postcard. Here is our new postcard ready!
