Many people associate paper with something fragile and short-lived. However, quilling – This is the kind of art that completely refutes such judgments. If you put a mug or any other heavy object on a filigree stand made of paper, then none of the paper curls will even think about deforming or changing their shape. Another important point to consider when making strips is – This is the weight of the paper, it must be at least 60 grams per m². These parameters are indicated on the packaging. If the weight is less, then the paper tapes will not curl neatly, and the shape will not hold. Quilling technique At first glance, it may seem that the paper rolling technique is quite simple: the strips are twisted into a tight roll. The most convenient way to start this work is to twist the edge of the paper quilling tape onto the tip of the awl. Bend each of the strips on one side and glue a flower to them. Now you have come to the final stage - design of the postcard. Here, act in accordance with your imagination. You can glue a green background onto the paper base, glue leaves and flowers on top of it, and at the end add a ribbon and a tag with congratulations.A few secrets:
