Initially, such a toy can be used for three purposes: Make a gift to a loved one, decorate your apartment, or add a new decoration to the Christmas tree. In addition, this toy is made using the quilling technique, which will allow an adult and a child to learn the basics of a new technique, as well as master some of the features of creation according to patterns. A standard set of office paper, specialquilling ribbons and toothpicks can provide us with the desired result. This snowflake is created using "modules" - special particles of one ready-made snowflake model. We will decorate each module ourselves, and any snowflake can turn out unexpectedly different and look completely different from what we imagined it to be earlier. What materials might be needed for our work?
- Prepare office paper in white
- It must be cut into strips in width by 5 millimeters and a length of 30 centimeters

First, we need to preparetools for working with winding paper strips. First, you need to take a toothpick and use a stationery knife to make a cut on it in the form of a cleft to a depth of 5-6 millimeters. Next, to prepare a snowflake, you should make modules using special lessons on basic elements. Working with modules will allow us to create separate parts of the future snowflake pattern, so get ready to work productively. The first element we will work on is a drop. Forming a drop
You need to take a strip of paper and insert the endinto a special slot that is in a toothpick and twist it using the pads of your fingers. You will get a spiral that needs to be moved into a special ruler diameter of 1.5 centimeters. This is necessary so that all the parts are the same. We take a toothpick and by shifting the center to the spiral, we run along the edge of the template and its circumference, and then - we extract our module. We squeeze it with the thumb and index finger at one end. Thus, the spiral will look like a drop. The tip of our blank must be glued to the base using an adhesive base. In total, you will have to make 12 similar elements for the snowflake blank.
Next, you need to take six ready-made fragments,using drops to form the center. Just above we presented you with a template, you need to place these elements in its center, using a narrow edge, to each other, using six rays with a snowflake. Using the places of contact of our modules, we connect them with an adhesive base. In order for the modules not to move, they must first be fixed with a template, using pins. The next module of the workpiece needs to be formed.It is necessary to take a strip and push it into the end of the toothpick slot, our strip must be twisted to the very end. Next, place the spiral in the diameters of our ruler and let it unwind by 15 millimeters in diameter. We take out the element so that the spiral does not unwind. Press the spiral with both ends, using the index finger, as well as the thumb on both hands. It is necessary that the center does not shift. Thus, we form 6 similar elements. We place them in the perimeter between the drop elements and fix them with pins, using the junctions of the parts, apply adhesive for fixing. Forming a heart
To make this module, you need to takeone half of the strip, so the strip needs to be folded in half, and the folded area cut with a stationery knife or scissors. Next, fold the half in half. You need to take a strip of tape and mark itthe middle of the tape, without creating a fold. Then, twist the ends of the tape to the middle, but using different sides. Straighten the curls. Thus, we form twelve modules. In pairs, you need to glue the curls at the points where they touch. placing the ends towards each other, the others - from each other. We place the modules that we got between the heart element and fix them with pins. Then, glue.Once the work is completed, the snowflake must be decorated using the remains of the 6 drop elements, which are glued to the end of each of the curls.
