Rabbit, the most popular doll of Tilde. Master class with the original pattern of this toy.
Among the Tilda toys you can find a lot of animals. There are cats and bees and snails and animals that live on farms. But the most popular of Tone Finnanger's creationsis a Tilda Rabbit doll, because based on the pattern of this sad animal, in a beautiful hat, you can also sew an Easter bunny. In this master class, you will find a pattern that will help you sew a Tilda Rabbit. So, to sew this doll, you will need the following materials: - light or dark brown fabric for the body; - checkered fabric for lining the ears; - fabric for sewing clothes; - synthetic padding or holofiber; - embroidery threads and acrylic paints. The Rabbit pattern is shown in the picture below:
Fold the fabric in half and around the body patternlay a seam, sew 2 parts for each limb. Do not sew the bottom of the body and those parts of the limbs that are adjacent to it. Fold the main fabric and the lining for the ears together (outside with the outer sides), lay a seam around the pattern, remembering to leave an opening through which the stuffing will go. Cut out all the parts of the pattern and turn them inside out, and sew up the opening left on the ears. Then stuff the doll's body and limbs. The assembly diagram of the pattern parts is shown in the figure below:
Insert the legs into the unsewn end of the body and sew them up.holes to secure them. Do the same with the arms and ears (don't forget that the lining fabric should "look" down). Now, the rabbit needs to be dressed. To do this, sew some pants and a funny sundress with straps for the animal. The clothes can be decorated with decorative embroidery. The nose and eyes are usually embroidered with pink and black threads. However, you can paint them with acrylic paints.
