Of course, playing with a doll is a fun activity, but dressing up a doll and creating a new image with the help of original outfits cannot be compared with anything. Especially when Monster High clothes are so diverse and versatile. There are a lot of tutorials on modeling exclusive Monster High clothes on the Internet, but there are also a lot of difficulties and important points in this work. One of these points is the size of the doll. When sewing clothes for a Monster High doll, very small parts are used and the work turns out to be almost jewelry. Therefore, when making a pattern and sewing clothes, do not neglect good lighting lamps, a comfortable workplace and tools. All this is done in order not to spoil your eyesight. Well, in order for miniature clothes to turn out perfect, you need to make a good accurate pattern. And today we will try together with you to remove the pattern from the Monster High doll, using the dummy method, which will allow us to embody the intended shape most accurately. In order to make a pattern in this way, you will need cling film, tape (preferably thin), paper, a pencil and scissors, and most importantly - the doll itself, for which we want to sew a new outfit.
At the beginning of the work, you need to wrap the doll tightly, but not too thickly, with cling film. This pattern is made to create a bodysuit, so you need to wrap the doll's body.
After you have done this work, secure the film with tape.
Then draw all the lines of the cuts and darts (they(it is necessary to draw on all deep and convex parts of the doll). In the illustrations you can see that the darts were on the back, on the sides of the chest and in front from the chest to the waist.
After all the work is done, you need to remove the dummy, cutting it along the shoulder line, bottom, and then the back. Remove the dummy from the doll, cut it along the sides and dart lines.
