This, of course, is good, but what to do with the remaining slides: just throw them away or use them to make some original stuff. For window decor you need at least 250 slides. If you chose a doorway, then prepare at least 500 pieces. For slides, you need to separately prepare frames from cardboard and metal rings. They can be found at any hardware store or in where the needlework kits are sold. In addition, prepare a large needle (awl), as well as rings for curtains. If the slides are already placed in separate frames, pierce them twice from each side with an awl. Connect the slides to each other from all sides. It should be a single blanket. Hang it on the ledge, using the curtain rings. If you want the curtain to become more original, you can not connect it to each other on the sides. You will get separate vertical bars. 
If the slides are placed in a plastic frame,work will be much more difficult. Here you can use any tricks to make holes. Try to make them with an awl or burn with a hot nail.
