Rocking chair with own hands from a wooden bay
Large wooden cable spools standThey’re not cheap, so buying them to make a rocking chair doesn’t make much sense. But, if you have a bay that is no longer needed and don’t want to bother selling it, then this homemade product is for you.To make it you will need a wooden coil and a tool. First of all, we disassemble the bay and create grooves for installing a seat for a rocking chair.
Next we drill new holes for the studs. They should be positioned so as not to interfere with the installation of the seat (ideally under it).
The last step is to install boards for the seat, studs and join the two sides of the bay.
That's it, the wooden bay rocking chair is ready.
For greater comfort, it makes sense to cover the seat and varnish the wooden parts.
