Master Class on the creation of openwork roses from beads

Those of you for whom beadwork isOccupation of the new, can say that weaving the roses is a very difficult task. Therefore, it is desirable to use diagrams, photos and video materials. Beading is so beautiful that with its help you can perfectly copy flowers, especially their shape. For weaving roses from beads, we need to have:

  • Beads for petals of any color, green (for leaflets and sepals) and golden (for edging);
  • Wire (0,3mm);
  • Wire for the stem (copper or aluminum wire 3-4 mm);
  • Threads for tying (like a moulin). Threads can be replaced with floral strips or corrugated paper.
  • Our master class is devoted to how to weave openwork roses, with a step-by-step description of this work. Such flowers can decorate any house, or be given to anyone. The scheme of this rose is as follows:

    • Six petals;
    • Five sepals;
    • Five leaves.

    To weave such a rose, you need to useOpenwork types of weaving. One important addition is necessary. The scheme of weaving should be very strictly observed, and the wire should not be tightened tightly. Beadwork of the openwork type with its own hands assumes a free state of the wire. If you will weave very tightly, tightening it, the openwork rose from beads will turn out not so flexible and gentle. Simply put, you will ruin your work. Lace flowers from beads make this technique of weaving.
    So, let's start our work. We take a thin wire of 1 meter long, fold it in half, and we collect 16 pieces of beads on it. We will stretch them to the middle of the wire, to the point of bending. Twist, forming a loop. After this, to continue weaving, the ends of the wire must be disconnected, typing on each of 8 pieces of beads. Now the wire is twisted again two full turns. Now we have two loops. We need to weave five of these loops.

    When the first five loops are ready, for eachWire it is necessary to dial 16 beads, after which the free end of the wire passes through one of the beads of the fourth loop. Then we collect 8 pieces of beads, and we conduct a wire through a hole of the fourth bead of the previous loop. So we weave to the topmost loop, and repeat the same operation with the second wire. And now we need to weave the series downwards. We dial 12 beads, and we pass the wire through the fourth bead of the lower loop. Then we will collect 10 pieces of beads. So do it three times, and for the last fifth time, we'll collect 14 pieces and conduct the wire through the eighth bead of the nearest loop.

    Now we need to do the weaving, moving from aboveThe petal is down. We select 8 beads and pass the wire through the seventh bead of the next loop. Then dial 12 beads and pass through the fifth bead of the nearest loop. Next, dial 10 beads and go through the fifth nearest loop. This principle is also observed when weaving the second half of the wire, until the entire petal is weaved.

    When the petal is finished, we must make himEdging. To do this, take the wire about 40 cm long and stretch into one of the beads along the center of our petal, the upper central loop. We got two ends, because the wire was divided in half. At one end, we will type 6 beads. The principle of weaving remains the same. A set of beads and stretching the wire through one of the beads of the next loop. The color of the beads for the edging of the petals must differ from the color of the petal itself. So the rose will look even more openwork.

    After we made our own handsPetals, we begin to weave sepals. To do this, we take wire, green beads, we collect on the end one bead and bend it. Then we collect two more green beads, and advance them to the first one.
    Now take a small piece of wire andWe fix it under three beads. On this basis we take 8 beads, and on two ends of a wire of 12 beads. After that, we twist together. Next, the set goes in such a way that 12 pieces of beads are sent to the main wire, while the others are typed in 14. Then, having tightened all three wires together, we get a figure in the form of a figure-eight. In the narrowest place, where there is twisting, we fasten additional wire and dial beads on it. At each end of the additional wire will go to 21 beads. And now on the main wire we type 25 beads, and we deduce in a bead of one lateral arc. At the end of the formation of the sepals, all the wires must be twisted together.

    So, we needed 6 petals and 5 sepals. When they are all ready, let's start assembling the rose. We turn one of the petals, forming the center of the flower from it. We attach our central petal to the stem of the rose. The next petal is also fastened to the stem, which acts as a stalk, slightly winding the central petal. The next step is to screw the first two petals with a floral tape that will secure it to the stem. The next petals are screwed, slightly bending them. For each petal we use floral tape. Sepals are located on top of the petals.

    The leaves for the rose are made jagged in the French weaving technique. They join the stem also with floral tape.
    If you liked to weave these beautiful flowers,Then you can quite collect a whole bouquet of roses from beads, and install it in your house. If you have applied for information on our website, here you can find many different videos and photos on beadwork. It will become clear to you that there are many different ways of weaving roses from beads. Examples can be blue roses, or in Greek style, roses of different styles and techniques of weaving. But these are all individual flowers, which can then be put in a vase individually or in a bouquet, if we weave several colors.

    Bush rose from beads

    Today I would like to highlight a specialA kind of rose called a bush. It is attractive for its originality, it is placed in a pot and imitates the living roses growing in our yards. The only difference is that the rose bush of beads can be in the house, and not in the yard. In nature and in the photo, the bush rose looks no worse, and sometimes even more original than ordinary roses, from which we make bouquets. So, for work we need the following materials:

  • Red beads;
  • Beads of green color;
  • Wire thin 0,4мм;
  • Thick wire for branches;
  • Floral tape is green;
  • Tweezers for cutting.
  • We start by stringing red beads onThin wire. We collect the beads by the measure of length, one meter. Then retreat from the edge of the wire 5 centimeters. Separate 6 beads from the whole number, and move them closer to these 5cm, which will be left for further work on attaching the flower to the branch. From these separated beads we twist a loop. Now we separate the following beads in an amount sufficient to form the second row around our loop. This can be done by eye. We perform the fixation by twisting, and we get the first petal. The peculiarity of performing bush roses is that all the petals are made on one wire, positioning them along the length, without cutting it into parts.
    Continue the work, repeating everything in the sameAnd forming the following petals. Moving six beads, twisting the loops and performing a second arc around it. And so we repeat six times, resulting in six separate small petals, located on the same wire. After that, the extra pieces should be cut off with wire cutters, leaving free 5-6 cm for further work. In order to design our roses, you need to collect and pull together all 6 petals. We add them, closing one leaflet by others. We twist the wires for two or three full turns. We got one bud. We need six such buds for one bush.

    The second stage of our work isThe production of small buds, imitating the unopened buds of bush roses. One bush will require three such buds. The technique is the same as when working on the first rose. On one wire we form three loops, each of which consists of 6 beads. Then we connect all three loops together by the twisting method, and cut off the excess. We have a small bud, which looks like a non-opening rose. Now we repeat everything, and we make two more of the same buds.
    And now we will produce sepals for all ourBuds. To do this, we collect on the wire green beads, all for the same length. We retreat from the edge of the wire 5 cm and move to this point 6 beads, we make of them a loop. This is our first leaflet. We continue the work, making on the same wire other leaves, also from 6 beads. A total of 6 sepals are required for a single rose. When six loop-sepals are ready, we cut the wire. For an undisclosed bud you do not need 6, but 4 sepals. In the rest, the process is the same. Cooked sepals should be attached to roses. To do this, we connect by means of a ribbon of a ribbon a flower with a thicker wire, for which we make several turns of the flora of the ribbon around the roses. After this, we fix sepals underneath it, using also a floral tape.

    Video: Buds and sepals of bush roses

    We made roses and sepals. Three flowers should be 10 cm long, three others 5 cm. Now we need to collect our unblown buds. We do this in the same sequence as when assembling the rose itself, screwing the bud to the wire with a ribbon of ribbon. Then we attach four sepals, and our bud is ready.
    Let's start creating the leaves of our bush. For this, we collect green beads. Leaving 20 cm from the free end of the wire, we add this piece in half. We will get a large loop where we move the beads in the amount of 5 cm. We distribute the beads on both sides of the bottom of the loop and make twisting movements on top of the beads. We got the bottom of our leaf. The remaining loop will serve us to attach the necessary beads. We type it according to the size of our leaf and screw it to this loose wire. We make several such additional pieces, in an amount of 4 pieces. Our leaf is formed. We only need seven such leaves.

    And now we proceed to assemble our flower. We take a thick wire, and at the top we fasten one short rose, fixing it with a floral tape. We try to screw it as tight as possible so that it does not move. Thus, one applies and we fasten the others. Connecting two roses and two buds, we fasten two leaves. Then add another rose, fixing its flora with a ribbon. Thus, one by one, we gradually add all the details of our beautiful bush. Leaves and buds are added alternately. You can make several such bushes to make the roses look bigger and more beautiful.
    So, our lesson for today is over, now you can decorate the house with magnificent roses made of beads.
