In 2017, every home will have a wall hangingcalendar with a rooster, each sideboard will have a couple of souvenir roosters ... all because this loud bird is a symbol of 2017! We continue to make gifts for loved ones and home decorations, for celebrating the New Year, in the form of various roosters - from any materials, any sizes. Today I want to share patterns for sewing our symbol from felt. Some patterns are so simple that a child of 6-7 years old can easily sew himself (if before that he was at least somehow acquainted with threads and needles). Nothing complicated - we print out a template / pattern (on our website it is free), invite the child to cut out stencils or mentally (some children have such a talent) transfer the image to a piece of felt and cut everything out evenly. With the rest of the patterns, which are more complicated, I think our readers will also cope. Therefore, I only have a small piece of advice (I sometimes make mistakes on such trifles myself). When the pieces of felt for the future craft are already prepared (cut according to the template), the most important thing is to understand what to sew to what now, and in what order, so that it is convenient to put the filler into the toy later. We sew small parts separately and first of all, sewing them to the base before it is filled and sewn. For example, when I was sewing a bear, I had already filled it and finished sewing its body, and the eyes, nose and mouth had to be sewn on later, and it was not very convenient to hide unnecessary extra threads. In general, be more careful, learn to sew beautiful roosters, and please your household and friends with your crafts!
