Tinting the picture with colored pencils plays an important role in the integrity of the created picture
Tinting a picture with colored pencils isone of the ways of drawing in this technique. It is used by many famous artists, achieving amazing effect in their works. For an aspiring painter, this knowledge also will not damage and will make your drawing unusually beautiful. After all, toning can transmit all the shades, make certain parts of the image less bright or, conversely, saturated. Drawing with a pencil is a special technique with which you can create beautiful drawings, convey a variety of colors, achieve an amazing effect when transferring overflows, for example, animal fur, glare on the water, unusual drawing of the person's eyes and much more. Every person, even a small child, can draw lines and decorate pictures with this or that color. For this, no special knowledge is required, except that the correct application of strokes, so that the picture in the end turned out holistic and not clumsy, which also requires certain practical exercises and skills. But there are other ways to give the picture an eccentricity, naturalness, attractiveness with such a wonderful material as colored pencils. It is the toning of the drawing with colored pencils that will allow us to ideally convey the whole gamut of colors and shades. Many masters in the art of painting use toning, in particular multilayer toning. In this case, several colors are applied one on the other. the layer of each color must be translucent. With the usual tinting, the strokes need to be applied very close to each other, so that even areas of the desired color are obtained. The figure shows several ways of simple toning. The first section (A) is made with the help of a stupidpencil. The second section (B) is more saturated than the first (decorated with an acute, sharpened pencil). The third section (B) was painted in such a way that an uneven surface appeared (gives the picture more realism). Multilayer toning is used to mix colors and get a completely new shade, if necessary, to get a muffled natural brightness of this or that area, to create the volume, complexity of some images on the general background, to create and modify the texture. As a rule, expressiveness can be obtained with the help of several layers of different colors. In the figure below, the color of the cat was made using multilayer toning. Colors such as red, blue and dark purple were used.
Smooth objects can be toned in two ways: traditional and fast. With the traditional method, first apply the tone (white paper is fairly well visible). Then the entire surface of the pattern is covered with a white pencil, muffling the previously received tones. At the same time, the whiteness of the paper itself becomes almost invisible. On a smooth surface, new layers of the desired colors are applied. And the final step is to apply another layer of colors that restore the desired saturation and completely hide the lumens of paper and its roughness.
At a fast way for work take softPaper and do not use whitening with a white pencil. The background is drawn with the right color, the pressure on the pencil should be very strong. The image itself, in this case the apple, is colored with lighter strokes, since this layer should be smoothly connected with the subsequent ones. In the end, only by strongly pressing the pencil at the final stage, we can achieve a saturated beautiful shade.
Multilayer toning is not simple enoughprocess. To achieve the desired effect, you can apply a two-layer application of colors. Two bright, related colors, applied to each other, make the tone muffled.
Bright, complementary colors make it possible to achieve neutrality.
Low-saturated colors make it possible to create a shade when it appears that more individual colors were used.
Try and experiment, and you will find your way to achieve a unique effect in creating a beautiful drawing.
