You can buy new ones or find old ones that are not rotten. The belts should be made exclusively of leather, thick and strong with strong metal buckles. Buying them in a store will be too expensive, so we recommend looking for them at junk shops or second-hand stores. There they will be 10 times cheaper and of much higher quality. Let's start making First, determine the width of the shelf and adjust the length of the boards to it. It is better to saw the boards with a fine hacksaw to make it neater. If desired, they can be painted, varnished or processed in another way. Next, measure an equal distance from the edges (7-15 cm) and mark it with a pencil.
Then we install the belts according to the indicated mark andwe nail them down (the top board is attached to the straps only from the end). After assembling the structure, it is necessary toattach to the wall with dowels, or nails if the walls are wooden.
