Shower and pipes: installation of Axor Waterdream from Front
Axor brand and Swedish trio collaboratedesigners Front led to the creation of an original shower installation, recently presented to the public at the Axor headquarters. Designers Charlotte von der Lancken, Sofia Lagerkvist and Anna Lindgren took on the task of rethinking the everyday interaction of a person with water in space and came up with a bold concept. Exploring the technical side of the process of installing plumbing in a house, the girls materialized a real water labyrinth with copper pipes, elbow connectors and classic shower heads, which were used at the dawn of plumbing progress. The installation demonstrates that communications hidden from the eyes of consumers can be visually attractive and create an interesting spatial structure. The designers used their personal perception of the shower to draw attention to the technology hidden behind the walls.Personally, I was interested in the question, why at all?draw attention to this? In the words of one of the three designers: “It was important for us to promote an understanding of what is the most archetypal aspect, the source of any bathroom. That’s why we played around the most basic components used to bring water into the house – pipes, valves, couplings and shower heads.”
We recommend:Glass connectors manufactured by Pauli are used to attach fixed panels in glass shower cabins. When installing shower structures using connectors and other fittings for glass, glass partitions are installed directly on the tray or floor.
