Flip-flops of colored pencils
Pencils are a versatile and convenient material for many decorative crafts and compositions. Designer Lauren Milroy created original and, I think, quite wearable shoes from colored pencils. The flip-flops are made from over a hundred pencil parts, along with colored pencil lead. Each piece is securely glued to the next, creating the shape of the sole.Even slightly larger pencils were cut outheel flip-flop — slipper! I don’t know how durable such footwear will be and how the foot will feel, but the idea is interesting, and most importantly — accessible, so you can try to implement it with your own hands. By the way, Lauren, before graduating from the design department at Stanford University, was an engineer in the mechanical engineering industry by profession and worked for several years as a leading specialist in the aerospace industry. And now — pencil shoes and other interesting ideas, which you can read about on her website. Such are the twists of fate
