Small Cool 2011: consider every meter of area

Today there are two projects leading in the category "tiny", that is, "a very small apartment". Ariel from Los Angeles, California - the lucky owner of an apartment of 40 m². "What do you love about your apartment?" Recently I had to move into an apartment smaller than the previous one. I decided that my goal was to make this small studio apartment a place where I would really like to spend time. The result of the interior of the apartment - a full reflection of who I am - fun, creative and a bit unusual. I like that all the favorite things fit, but it does not feel cramped and messy. Although the room is small, friends like to come and hang out here! "What was the most difficult in the apartment environment?" I wanted to divide the bedroom and living room areas, but not at the expense of ways that visually make the room even smaller. Therefore, I developed a system of bookshelves, using the IKEA spring racks, which I painted white. My salad regiments frame the sleeping area around the perimeter, and the space between them I covered with translucent removable panels. At night my bedroom glows like a jewel box! 
Heidi settled in Chicago, Illinois apartmentAn area of 49m². "What do you like in your apartment?" Every centimeter of this space is used. I feel that I live in a luxury hotel with a great home cabinet - a workplace and a roomy cabinet of more than 6 meters in length. What more could you want? The most difficult thing was to cope with the fact that my possessions are now so small ... But now I have less things and more life! I'm free and happy!
