Spring is the time of flowers and love. And what is the very first flower that appears from under the snow through the green grass, of course the snowdrop.
However, now it is still too early for them, to please yourself now you can make snowdrops from beads with your own hands.
These flowers will be a wonderful decoration for your home.
Master class on beading snowdrops
From materials for beadwork of colors you will need:
- white, transparent beads;
- rich green beads;
- 2-3 meters of wire, diameter 0.3 mm;
- threads to hide the wire;
- weaving patterns.
In addition to the materials for the bouquet, you can choosemade for a pot. In search of solutions, you can look through the photos in our article or handicraft magazines. As an option, you can make a vase or basket for unusual snowdrops with your own hands.
Also, when working on the composition, you will need nippers and an organizer so as not to lose small details.
So, let's begin our master class on weaving snowdrops from beads.
Petals The first thing we do is a saberPetals of the future flower. For each element it will be necessary, at least 3 beads. In total, we should get 15 petals. I follow the scheme, perform the detail: we take wire, 40 cm in diameter and one bead of green color.
We weave using the parallel techniqueweaving, i.e. each subsequent row will contain one bead more, in relation to the previous one. In the third row, add white beads and then continue alternating them with green beads. Then work only with white beads, continuing parallel weaving, only the number of beads in the row will change. So, according to the scheme, the pattern should be:
- 4th row - 5 beads;
- 5th - 6 beads;
- 6, 7th - 7 pieces each;
- 8th - 6 beads;
- 9th - 5 beads;
- 10th - 4 beads;
- 11th - 3 pieces.
After in the 12th row, turn on the green again. So in this and the other rows we use green beads, weaving three beads in a row. In the last row, we leave only one bead. We do not fix the finished petal, since it will need to be connected to the second one. We make two more petals for the snowdrops, for this we rub them up to the 13th row and connect them together. Connections of flower parts are done with the help of parallel weaving technique. So you have one full petal and two not full. First connect the second and the first, for this end the wire passes between the 12th and 13th rows. Then you pass the free end to the third petal. At the free end, type two green beads, the free end of the wire passes through the 14th and 13th row of the first petal, and after - the second. As a result, something is formed that resembles a cup in shape, which is usually under the base of the flower. Finish the element weaving the 14th row for the third petal, where according to the scheme there should be one green bead.
Flower core To weave the core, youYou will need a wire - a piece 25 cm long. On the wire, start with 4 white beads, then one green one and finally 5 white beads. To form a ring, pass the working end through the first white bead. Align the resulting ring and tighten the loop. Then, repeating the technique, make three more parts of the core. When everything is ready, connect the parts, the resulting parts should fit tightly together.
Now connect the petals and the core of the flower. To do this, twist the free ends of the wire, connecting the parts. Now you have a ready flower. Repeat the pattern to make the rest of the flowers.
However, this is not the end of the master class on making flowers from beads; the composition still needs to be supplemented with leaves and a pot.
Weaving leaves
Making leaves for snowdrops is probably the easiest part of the whole job. For the harmony of the bouquet, it is better if there are no more than 1-2 of them.
For the leaves, you will need a wire 70 long.cm and green beads, a shade darker than the base of the flower. Beading is done using the already known technique of parallel weaving. So in the first row there will be 2 beads, in the second - 3. Starting from the third row and up to the 32nd, weave 4 beads in each row. In the 33rd - go to decrease - 3 beads, in the 34th - 2 and so in the 35th - you will have one left. The leaflet is ready. Secure the wire. For a spring bouquet, you will need to make 5-7 leaves, depending on the number of flowers in your bouquet.
Assembling the flower When all the elements are ready, it's worthTurn to practical video lessons, where they clearly show how to collect snowdrops from beads with their own hands into the finished composition. To do this, the middle of the flower is inserted into the petals, which are joined together, the so-called corolla, and twist the wire. The ends should be connected in the area of the flower cup. After fasten the flower to the stem, which is made of a rigid wire, to hide the wire, wind it with threads, and then use a PVA glue to attach the corrugated paper. Similarly, attaching the core and the flower itself, connect the leaf with the main stalk.
As an alternative to just white snowdrops,you can make an alpine meadow flower. To do this, you just need to add blue or soft blue beads to the rows of petals. The entire weaving pattern will be similar to the classic version, only in places where you took white beads, using patterns and photos, you will type blue ones in the middle.
Here is a bouquet almost ready. You can leave it as is, or plant it in a basket or vase.
The base for the ready-made flowers The vase for the snow-covered bead, you can also make it yourself, for this you will need:
- Alabaster - in order to combine the bouquet and the container into one;
- 2 small cans. They are necessary for mixing the mixture, and the second will help to make the shape of the pot.
- package;
- Brush, paint;
- PVA glue;
- water.
First we make a mixture: Blend alabaster with water to the state of thick sour cream. In the jar, which we took for the form, we lay a plastic bag. Fill in the mixture. While the alabaster is not frozen, we put flowers. To create the effect of a thawed patch, you can make bumps. Wait for the time when the mixture will freeze (in average day) and finish painting the pot. Here already in its design, your fantasy plays the main role - it can be a blue tint, you can add the effect of dark spots of the earth.
The completed work only needs to be varnished.
The bouquet is ready! Now the beaded snowdrops will delight you all year long.
You can additionally study this version of weaving snowdrops in printed literature or with the help of practical video lessons, admire the possible options (photos) and make your own.
