Tools and materials

So, to make a gingerbread house of felt we will need:

• sheet felt brown and white;
• artificial filler;
• thin satin ribbons of red and green color;
• scissors;
• white thin threads;
• sewing needle;

Description of work

1. Let's start with a sketch of the future toy. We draw it by hand on a piece of paper with a simple pencil. According to our idea, we should have a snow-covered house in drifts made of sweet sugar glaze. In the drawing, there should be no clear and correct lines "under the ruler", nothing if the house is a little out of proportion and with rounded edges, do not forget we will make a gingerbread house, and it looks exactly like that. 2. Next, cut the resulting sketch from the paper along the outline, and using it as a template, we transfer the outline of the house to brown felt, which we previously laid down in two layers. Then we cut out from the felt two absolutely identical parts. 3. Then cut out of the house all the individual parts that we need to be white - a roof, snowdrifts, a tree and a tree, and a window. We transfer the outlines of the details to the felt of white color and carefully cut out each. 4.Now we will make out the front part of the toy, start with the snow-covered roof, apply it to the main front part of the house and sew it with a needle with a thin white thread. We lay very small, as much as possible even and identical stitches of the seam "a needle forward". 5. After the toy is packed, sew the remaining lower part of the house, in the same way as the side. 10. The gingerbread house of felt is almost ready, it is necessary to supplement it with several details. eleven. To make it possible to hang our unusual toy on a twig of a Christmas tree, we need to make an eyelet for it, but to sew a regular loop of twine or thread, it would be very simple and boring, so I decided to make it from a satin ribbon. We take ribbons of two colors - red and green and we form from each small bow.
