Sachet is a neatly finished aromaticPads or pouches that are put in lockers with clothes and bed linen, or simply placed in the room to choke them. In addition, aromatic sachets can be placed under the pillow to calm down and quickly fall asleep. Depending on the filler, fragrant bags can exert a tonic, stimulating or soothing effect. The fillers for the sachet include: finely ground aromatic herbs, essential oils, sea salt, etc. The choice of filler depends only on your preferences. I want to offer you a master class on creating a small fragrant sachet with a soothing effect, which can be placed in the crib of a young child, for a sound and restful sleep. In order to create such a bag, we need a piece of simple cotton or linen cloth, scissors, a sheet of paper, a pen, thread with a needle and a mixture of aromatic herbs and essential oils (we used chamomile flowers, mint leaves and thyme, and lavender essential oil, which known for its soothing properties). First, take the paper and cut it out of the formour future bag. Since this sachet will be placed in the baby's crib, I decided to make it in the form of a small bunny. Paper pattern is stirred on our fabric and carefully circled. We got a fabric blank. Now with the help of scissors we cut out two identical details of our future bunny. We put our workpieces togetherside up and begin to stitch. You can do this manually or by sewing machine. It is important that the distance between the ears marked with a red line is not stitched, so that the filler of our sachet can be filled through it. The stitched blank is turned out. Now we are preparing the mixture for the filler. For this, we pour the ground grass into a container, there we also drip a few drops of lavender oil and mix everything thoroughly. It is very important not to use too much essential oil, otherwise it can cause side effects. To fill our pouch with grass, you can take a sheet of paper and roll it up as a cone. The sharp angle of the cone is inserted into the remaining hole of our bunny and fixed with fingers. Take the fragrance mixture and carefully pour it inside the bag. For convenience, the ears of our bunny we filled with ordinary cotton wool, which also dripped essential oil. When our pouch is filled to the top, sew the remaining hole. It remains only to tie the ears with a small piece of ribbon to thereby hide the outer seam. Such lovely and, most importantly, useful bunnies have turned out.
