Square motive crochet. Master Class!
Beautiful square motif. Scheme from Japanese magazine. Master class from NewNameNata. Scheme of knitting the motif:
1st row. Make a slip stitch or a "magic ring", cast on 3 chain stitches and 15 double crochets. Close with a slip stitch.
2nd row. Alternate: single crochet, 3 chain stitches. Skip every second double crochet of the previous row. There will be 8 arches in total.
3rd row. Alternate: one single crochet into the arch of three air loops, 6 double crochets into the next arch, etc. You will get 4 petals, they immediately take on a voluminous shape.
4th row. In the skipped double crochets of the first row, we knit single crochets, between them - 4 air loops. In total, we will get 8 arches.
Row 5. Knit similarly to Row 3, knitting 9 double crochets into the arch. You will get 4 petals.
6th row.Alternate: an arch of 5 air loops, a single crochet, an arch of 3 air loops, a single crochet. We knit the double crochets into the right or left parts of the arches of the 4th row, on the diagram these connection points are marked with dots.
7th row.In the arch of three loops we knit a single crochet, in the arch of five air loops we knit 6 double crochets, 3 air loops, 6 double crochets. Repeat 3 more times.
