Hot pads should be in every kitchenand in every room where you like to drink a cup of scalding hot chocolate, tea or coffee. The choice of such coasters on the market is very diverse, you can find different shapes, colors and materials. But it is much more interesting and economical for the family budget to make a couple of hot coasters with your own hands. For this, you can use wine bottle corks left over from making a bath mat or after fun feasts with guests and loved ones.For a medium sized stand you will need up to 50corks, so it makes sense to collect corks from friends and acquaintances. Having collected wine corks in a circle of the required size, clamp them with a metal clamp, which can be purchased at a hardware store. Instead of a clamp, you can use multi-colored threads, yarn, braid, leather laces and any other natural and not so natural materials.
