My son (Stepasha) will celebrate the New Year for the second time, last New Year he was 4 months old. Decided to knit a white rabbit costume. We will need: hook No. 3.5, Pekhorka threads "children's novelty", it took about 100 grams and white "grass" 50 grams. The size is for a height of 80 cm. It is very difficult to catch a child in a costume in a frame, so this is how it turned out.
The costume consists of a hat with ears, a vest and shorts with a tail.
The work is done with single crochets.The hat is knitted in a circle from "grass" to the desired size. Ears: knit 2 rectangles from "grass" with rounded corners on one side. Width 4 cm. Then knit the same 2 rectangles of a smaller size from a simple thread. And sew them to the rectangles from "grass". Between the two parts we insert synthetic padding (or other stuffing material) so that the ears stand up. The ears are ready, sew them to the hat. The vest consists of three parts: the back, left and right shelves. We crochet the back in a rectangular shape. The shelves are with a decrease towards the neck. We sew and tie all the edges with "grass". We crochet the shorts in one piece. We cast on a number of loops equal to the hip circumference and knit the desired height. Then we knit one leg, continuing to knit half of the entire width of the product. Then the second. Then we fold along the fold line (see the picture) and sew.
