Summer mini house of 9 square meters
According to the current legislation in FinlandA building permit is required for any building larger than nine square meters. Want to build a barn or a chicken coop? Be kind enough to provide a building plan and pay a certain tax. And it is not a fact that the plan will be approved and you will receive a permit! But even with these strict restrictions on the building area, Robin Falck managed to build a mini summer house, the area of which is only 8.92 square meters! The main material for the construction of a smallThe house was built using recycled wood. The budget for the entire project was about $10,000. An architect friend helped Robin skillfully implement his creative ideas and wishes into the building design, while keeping within the square footage allotted by law. It must be said that all construction work was completed in just two weeks! The building has two levels. The first level contains a living room, and the second level contains a sleeping area and an attic for storing things. The mini house is located in a picturesque forest, on the shore of a lake. Mesmerizing views of the water surface are visible both from the loft and from the lower floor through a large window along the entire wall. In order for maximum daylight to penetrate into the house, the wall with the window is designed at an angle. The lack of space inside the house is compensated by a wide wooden terrace nearby. In good weather, you can relax, work and even sleep under the clear starry sky!Photos © Robin Flack, tinyhouselistings.com
