Work for the competition « «.A sarafan for a girl, my beloved daughter! For age 2.5 years. Yarn 100% acrylic, hook №2.5. Needed 100g of mint yarn and 100g of pink, as well as buttons of different shapes.
The sarafan was knitted in a circle from the waist down.First I knitted 5 rows of DC, then according to the scheme 1 with a change of yarn color without breaking. In the first row I knitted the rapports more often than in the scheme, so the skirt widens a little. Ruffle according to the scheme 2, I knitted three fans and tied the edge with one row of DC. The upper part also according to the scheme 1, without widening, then a row of DC, then a row of DC with holes, finished with a row of DC. Straps: 1st row: 3 VP lifting, skip 3 VP of the base; 2 DC + 2 VP. + 2 DC in one loop of the base, skip 3 VP of the base, etc. 2nd row: 3 VP lifting, in the arch 2 DC + 2 VP + 2 DC, etc. The straps are sewn on the back and tied with one row of DC with mint-colored yarn. The frills on the straps are knitted according to pattern 1 (with the second row of fans shifted, it turned out in a checkerboard pattern). Lace: 1st row air loops, 2nd row: 2DCS from 1VP (7 times), then SC, from the last 7VP also 2DCS. The straps and belt were decorated with buttons that my daughter chose.
