Kettle with a light bulb: both lighting and heating
You can't surprise anyone with a modern electric kettle anymore.Developers continue to improve the shapes and technical characteristics of the household appliance, striving for almost space technologies of the water heating process. And designer Estelle Sauvage looked at it from the other side and created a kind of "prequel" to the modern kettle.
Ordinary water is used to heat the water.an incandescent light bulb built into a wooden stand with a mechanical switch of the "old" design. The glass body of the kettle has a special recess for the lamp.
This design will not boil water, but it can heat it up to 85-90°C, ideal for brewing tea, and in the evening it can also illuminate the space with soft light.

In Europe, such lamps have been banned from being produced since 2009, and in our latitudes, energy-saving light bulbs are becoming increasingly popular.
