The Wave: low cabinet chest with movable elements
Designer Sebastian Errazuriz creates his ownHands with unique furniture, which is not only a place for storing things, but also an original sculptural composition. Low cabinet chest of drawers on the legs is equipped with unusual moving elements instead of traditional boxes or doors on hinges. 
Access to the internal space is provided byThrough moving rejki fixed on all length of a case. Reiki are interconnected, so the movement of one leads to a fan-like effect, creating smooth waves on the surface of the cabinet. This device gives an infinite number of variations in the appearance of the chest, allowing you to create a unique customizable design. It's easy to feel like a creator, playing with the form of furniture! You can open one or more windows on the top, back or frontal surfaces, create a semblance of an explosion from the inside, make a sculpture of a fantastic creature or futuristic mechanism, form strange patterns across the surface. And at the same time, the functional component remains the same - we are talking about the storage for different home-based products.
Reiki, bottom and side panels are made ofLacquered wood of the Baltic birch, steel legs complement a fairly minimalist cabinet design. The articulation provides maximum mobility of the elements, while ensuring its durability and reliability while respecting the basic rules for care. 
The Wave chest of drawers was presented at the Design Miami 2014 exhibition. Its creation was inspired by undulating structures in the organic and inorganic world, in particular, the human DNA chain.
