This detailed master class contains crochet lessons for beginners and will teach you how to crochet a summer hat.
To create a summer hat with a crochet hook we needYou will need knitting yarn and appropriate tools. For this model we used: – yarn of 2 colors: threads "Pekhorka pearl" - color "salmon" (50% viscose, 50% cotton), 400 m/100 g. and Alpina Holly - color 500 (100% cotton), 200 m/50 g.; – hooks № 2 and № 1.75; – scissors and sewing needle; - monofilament; - rigelin or fishing line.
Crochet lesson for beginners - we start knitting our hat by knitting the bottom. This diagram will help us with this.
In the process of work, if you applythreads of a different thickness, you can make your own changes to the pattern. We use a yellow thread and a hook No. 2. We collect 4 air loops, close them, then knit 3 lifting loops and 11 double crochets inside the circle.
In the next row, we knit 2 double crochets in each column, doubling the number of loops. I did not knit air loops between the columns.
In the third row, we change the thread to coral and knit according to the pattern, knitting 2 air loops between the three columns.
This is the fourth row of the bottom. The petals of the flower are already visible.
The widest part of each petal consists of 7 columns.
Now we narrow the wide part of the petals.
And we finish knitting the bottom with a mesh consisting of columns separated by 2 air loops.
The next part of our hat is the crown. We will knit it using this simple pattern.
In a chain of 2 loops, we knit one or 2 columns, separated by an air loop.
And we alternate the number of columns in the rows (over one – two, over two – one).
In this way, we knit the hat to the depth you need.
To knit the band, use yellow yarn and hook No. 1.75. Knit with simple single crochet stitches quite tightly.
You need to make 2-3 circular rows.In this case, count the number of loops you get – it should be a multiple of 6. I got 120 loops. If you got 1-2 more – just knit them together.
We also knit the brim of the hat from coral yarn, adding monofilament to knitting to increase density. When using monofilament, you need to be careful, as it "remembers" the bends and when unraveling the product, difficulties may arise. And this is a diagram for creating fields.
By changing the number of air loops in the fans, you can increase the width of the fields at your discretion.
Repeat the first row (purple in the diagram) 3 times, knitting 1 loop in the fans.
The second row (bright pink) is knitted 2 times, knitting 2 loops in the first row, and 3 loops in the second row in fans.
And we knit the last sixth row according to the green pattern.
The "fan" pattern creates a certainwaviness at the edges. It needs to be smoothed out a bit to make it easy to knit the regilin. To do this, we make the binding (light pink in the diagram), knitting 5 double crochet stitches over the “check marks” of 2 double crochet stitches, and 4 single crochet stitches over the fans.
We change the thread to yellow and “go through” one row of single crochet stitches.
We cut the regilin or fishing line, measuring around the circumference so that there is an overlap of 4-5 cm. For the cap, the regilin should be cut in half.
We knit it with regular single crochet stitches.
We tightly wrap the ends of the fishing line or crossbar with tape and tie them up.
When working, you need to make sure that no "wave" is formed and that the brim of the hat lies completely on a flat surface. Like this.
Now we decorate the edge with a “crayfish step” pattern.
Any beautiful flower will do to decorate our summer hat. The main thing is that it is not too voluminous. For example, you can use this pattern.
And, of course, the flower should also be made two-color and the center decorated with a suitable bead.
We sew it to the chosen place.
To prevent the flower petals from curling, they should be carefully sewn on with regular sewing threads of a matching color.
And our hat is ready!
It turned out to be truly summery, light and beautiful!
And it's quite possible that this hat will become a favorite pearl in your summer outfit collection.
