Knitting such a flower requires threads, a base for a brooch and a hook. Knit our flower we will be in the technique of ribbon lace. To do this on a simple braid we will make several petals. Let's start knitting the braid. We will make 7 loops. 
The first link the column. All the columns of the central part of the braid have one cape. 
Turn knitting and make a chain of four loops. 
Now we bind the column, stepping back one loop fromcolumn of the first row. So our braid will consist of rectangles, in which two short sides - this is one loop, two long ones - this is a column with one overhang and three air loops. 
From the second (and all even later) rectangles, we begin knitting our petals. To do this, we'll type six loops.
