This detailed master class will teach you how to make beautiful beaded bracelets with your own hands.
The article shows the basic techniques of usependants, jump rings, fastening chains, end caps, using jewelry cable, fishing line with an elastic band effect to create beautiful DIY beaded bracelets. Let's get started! Option 1. Use ready-made ceramic beads and gold-colored fittings. Make rings for pendants from scrap materials. We will need: – Large, single-color bright beads – Rings – Elastic fishing line – Steering wheel-shaped pendants (or any other) – Pins or memory wire (or ready-made rings) – Round-nose pliers – Nippers – Small beads made of artificial or natural stoneWhat to do if there are no rings, but they are really needed? Make them from pins of the desired color or from special memory wire. Using round-nose pliers, twist the edge of the pin or wire into a double ring. We cut off the excess metal with nippers. The ring looks like a key ring. We make several rings - one for each pendant. We put pendants on rings like keys.We lay out all the materials next to each other to make sure that they will look nice together. We begin to put beads and pendants on the fishing line in the following order: Large bead, small bead, pendant, small bead, large bead, etc. Continue to set until you reach the desired length of the bracelet. The beads should alternate in such a way that after connecting the edges, symmetry and sequence are preserved! We connect and tie the ends of the elastic fishing line into a strong, tight knot. The elastic should be slightly taut, otherwise the bracelet will be “weak”.Having made sure that the knot will not come undone, we hide the knot in a large bead. To do this, simply slightly move all the beads. The first bracelet is ready.Option 2.For the second bracelet I use polymer clay beads. The beads are made using the "Aquarelle" technique, each bead is unique. Bronze-colored fittings. For work you will need: - Round-nose pliers - Large and small beads of contrasting colors - Pendants - starfish - Elastic fishing line - Rings for pendantsWe prepare the pendants – we thread the rings into them. We string the beads onto the fishing line in the following order: Large bead, small bead, pendant, small bead and large again.Repeat until you reach the desired length. We connect the edges of the elastic band, pull it slightly and tie a strong knot.As in the first option, we “hide” the knot and the edges of the elastic band in a large bead. And the second bracelet is ready!Option 3.You will need: – Multi-colored beads with a "ceramics" effect – Turtle pendants – Pendant rings – Stone chips in shades "consonant" with large beads. – Round-nose pliers or flat-nose pliers – Elastic fishing lineWe hang the pendants on the rings. We string a large bead, a piece of stone, a pendant, a stone and another bead onto the fishing line.Repeat until you reach the desired length. We connect the ends of the fishing line and tie them.We hide the knot as in the first two options. In just a few minutes, the third bracelet is ready.Option 4. Assembling beads on a rope and chain.Again, I use handmade polymer beads. You will need: – Beads – Decorative rings – Simple jump rings for pendants – Suitable pendants – I have a shell and starfish – Cable end caps – Cable – Bead caps – Lock – toggle or carabiner – Several contrasting small beads (I use natural cat's eye beads) – ChainWe cut the cable to the required length. We make a “sketch” of how the pendants will be located.Place the beads, caps, rings and pendants in the order that suits you.We fix the end clamp to the end of the cable. We put on all the beads and pendants in the planned sequence. We leave a small piece of the rope for attaching the second end. The beads should fit tightly enough to each other. We attach the second end switch. We lay them out in the correct orderremaining elements for attaching the lock. If you have enough beads and you have collected the required length, you can attach the lock to the rings to the workpiece that has already been assembled. I was 10 cm short of the required length, and I “fill” them with the help of a chain. We connect the end switch on the cable and the chain with a ring.We also connect the lobster clasp with a ring to the chain. We repeat on both sides. And this is what happened: Now you know how to make beautiful bead bracelets with your own hands. Author: Anastasia Balakina
