What to create a heart basket, you should prepare:

• 2 sheets of cardboard of contrasting colors (in this case, green and orange paper was used),
• scissors, glue stick,
• hole punch in the form of a heart,
• paper tape,
• knife for artwork,
• tool for creasing,
• 2 half-beads or rhinestones.

The basis for the manufacture of this basket wereThe templates, which are written by the Danish masters Lene and Anna Schepper, are taken. In the original stencil, I added silhouettes of small colors that are easy to cut out. And to decorate the middle of the basket, we will use a pattern of this kind of flower. The basic stencils are printed on orange and green cardboard. Now it is necessary to perform the creasing(punching) the middle line and fold the sheet in half, securing the connection with paper clips. This is necessary so that the outline flowers located along the edge of the basket are symmetrical. Cut them out. Then cut the flowers, located on the petals and cut the basket around the perimeter. We make cuts, through which the details will beunite. In the green workpiece, the cutout is located from the bottom, and in the orange - from above. Fold the two halves of the basket in half, marking the fold line. Knock out a punch (or cut out) 20 hearts - 10 pieces of each color. And glue them from the inside, coloring out the outlined flowers. To decorate the middle flower, we cut out a circle with a diameter of 3 cm. This is how the faces of the future basket look now. We connect the parts together, fixing them with the help of counter-cutouts. Like this. Align the edges. And we glue only the center of the flower - while the details are fixed and will not move. Now we make two-colored hearts. To do this, we make cuts in the blanks, reaching the middle of the heart. In green - from below, and in orange - from above (or vice versa). We connect the hearts, and glue the halves. We fasten them at the bottom of each side of the basket to give it stiffness. For the handles, cut out 2 strips 30 cm long and 1 cm wide. We attach them to the basket using paper tape. From above attach the heart and carefully remove the excess adhesive tape with a knife. We also fix the handles with the oppositeside. And the final stage - we make the middle of the basket in the form of a flower. To do this, a small piece of light-colored cardboard is suitable. Attach the 2 templates with a stapler and cut them out. We attach the flowers to the basket with paper tape. In the center we glue a half-bead or a rhinestone. And our valentine basket is ready! It turned out not only beautiful, but also large enough and dense to contain gifts. Its height is 18 cm (without the handle), and the width is 21 cm. And a small panda inside is convenient! That's how they meet, like these 2 baskets, winter with spring. Replacing each other, and reminding us of the enduring beauty of any season.
