This detailed master class will teach you how to make a calendar with your own hands - a gift for Valentine's Day
The colors of the hearts can be very different -scarlet, crimson, pink, purple, all shades of red. It is "valentines" that loving and beloved people give each other on this day. Already at the beginning of February, you can see a variety of gifts for Valentine's Day on store shelves. But, still, the gift will leave an indelible impression if it is made with your own hands.
We offer you an original symbolicA Valentine's Day gift for someone dear to your heart - a February calendar decorated with small red hearts in the shape of a large heart.
To make a Valentine's Day calendar you will need:
- printed calendar from the Internet for February
- colored paper
- cardboard
- scissors
- tweezers
- glue
- ruler
- pencil
- frame for A4 photo
First of all, we need a base for our craft.- this is a calendar for February, printed from the Internet. The calendar for February can look in the style you wish - original, classic, vintage, etc. In any case, the calendar on an A4 sheet must be placed at the bottom, and the upper part of the sheet must be left for creativity.
Draw on cardboard of any color with a pencila small heart about 2 cm by 1.5 cm in size, we cut it out, it will be our template for making the main hearts from red colored paper.
Place the template on red paper, trace it with a pencil, cut it out, and you will get a small red heart.
We need to make 57 of these hearts.
Once all the hearts are cut out and ready to use, they need to be folded in half with the right sides facing inward.
Let's go back to the calendar we printed,the upper part of which we left for creativity. It is the upper part of the sheet that we need to mark with a ruler and pencil in order to symmetrically place small hearts on the sheet. To do this, we draw a vertical line in the middle of the sheet and eight horizontal lines at a distance of 1.5 cm from each other. These almost imperceptible neat lines will be our guide for creating a large heart of the correct shape.
At the same distance it is centralvertical line on the top horizontal line we need to place three small hearts on the left and right. To do this, use tweezers to fix the heart, spread glue on the fold line and carefully attach it to the desired location.
Similarly, we place five hearts on each side of the second horizontal line. The third, fourth and fifth horizontal lines consist of 11, 10 and 9 hearts respectively.
Next we narrow the large heart by reducing the number of hearts on each horizontal line.
On the sixth line there are 6 hearts, on the seventh- 3 hearts, and the last line is represented by one small heart. Insert the finished sheet into an A4 frame. The frame can be of any color, according to your taste and desire.
This original big heart made of small red hearts decorated our festive calendar for Valentine's Day.And to complete our work, the last cut outwe need to stick a small red heart on the number 14 in the calendar for February, this will really become the highlight of your already very unusual original gift to your loved one.
