In this MK I want to offer to crochet a voluminous snood from two colors, with a beautiful color transition. For a snood we need:
- 125 g light lavender yarn (50 g - 80 m, semi-wool)
- 125 g of purple yarn. (50 g - 80 m, semi-wool)
- thick hook (No. 9-10)
We begin knitting our snood using three threads of light lavender color.Using all three threads, knit a chain of 52 loops (4 loop repeat). We close the chain into a ring and knit three more loops – this is the rise. Now, through 2 loops, we will knit a column with one yarn over. But we will not knit it completely, but so that 2 loops remain on the hook - a working loop and a loop from the column.Let's knit another incomplete column from the same loop. And one more. There should be 4 loops on the hook. Now we will knit them all at once. This will be the first petal for our flower.Next we will need to knit a horizontal petal. We will cast on three air loops. And at the top of the first petal we will tie an incomplete column. And the second incomplete column - three loops on the hook.Let's knit all three loops at once - the second petal is ready. We will knit the third petal into the same base as the first. We also knit three incomplete columns, and then knit all the loops on the hook at one time. We get three petals. We will knit the next three petals at a distance of three air loops of our chain. We knit them in exactly the same way as the first group. We finish knitting the whole row like this. We start knitting the second row between the first and last petal. We make a chain of three air loops and two incomplete columns. And we finish knitting the group, similar to the first row.In the second and all subsequent rows, we knit groups of three petals in the spaces between the petals of the bottom row. So, we knitted two rows with lavender threads. In the next two rows we will replace one of the threads with purple. Our petals become two-colored.We knit the third row in the same way as the second – between the petals of the previous row.We knit two more rows. After we have knitted two more rows, we again change one of the light threads - to a dark one. The petals become darker.Well, after another 2 rows, we change all the threads topurple. And we knit two more rows with purple. After that we finish knitting, hide all the threads. Our snood is ready. It is easy and quick to knit, and it looks beautiful and elegant!
