This master class and descriptions will show how to make a postcard with swans in quilling technique.
In order to complete this work you shoulduse: 1. Blue cardboard. 2. Base (10.5x21 cm pink), which is intended for creating a postcard. 3. Special paper for quilling crafts, such colors as pink, black, white and orange. 4. Special double-sided tape. 5. Quilling tool (or toothpick), scissors, tweezers, glue, comb tool. First, let's prepare the base for our product. Take blue cardboard, cut out a 15x10 cm rectangle, then attach it to the surface of the pink base in the middle with foam tape. Then we proceed to forming the details for the swans. First of all, we need to use a special tool called a comb and white quilling paper. We begin to form the swan itself, having secured the first largest strip in the center of the "comb", then we make each subsequent loop one step smaller. During the process, we constantly secure the paper from below with glue. There should be 7 such steps on both sides of the central strip. If you get fewer, you can leave it like that, but in this case the swan will not be as lush. We form two such elements. Now we take white quilling paper of length40 cm and form round elements. Two will serve as the basis of the swans' bodies, and two as the neck and head. We make a large roll, then unravel it to the desired size, form an element as in the picture. To make the neck and head - unravel the same rolls as much as possible, and form a flat element, it will go into the bend and the head of the bird.Next we need to take quilling paper.orange, its length should be 5 cm. We make a small roll and slightly unravel it, make a swan's beak. Now we use black quilling paper, the length of which is 4 cm, and form the base for the beak as in the photo. We will need 2 pieces of each of these elements. Now we form hearts from pink quilling paper, from which we make three rolls in the usual way, giving each one the shape of a heart. Next, we form swans on our work. Using glue, we attach the bases of the swans' bodies to the blue background from below, after that, using foam tape (1x1 cm), we glue the body (similar to wings), then attach the neck and head. We glue the beak, which is formed from black and orange parts. In conclusion, we attach one heart on top, and one on each of the swans themselves. A romantic, chic postcard "Swans" is ready!
