This master class felting of wool will help make a toy monkey with your own hands

Let's make our monkey using the felting technique from wool. We'll choose the color to our taste. Ours will be pink. After all, the monkey of 2016 will be fiery, and pink is close to warm colors.We will use the following materials and tools:

wool for felting pink, beige,
small beads are white,
sewing thread white,
beads for eyes and mouth,
soap,
universal transparent adhesive,
piece of fishing line,
thick sponge,
needle for felting,
sewing needle,
scissors.

Description Head. Form a ball from a lump of beige wool. Roll it between your palms, pressing lightly.We felt it with a needle:we pierce the ball repeatedly over the entire surface, giving it the shape of a ball. In order for the ball to be smoother, as much as possible when felting, you can roll it a little on the damp. To do this, wet your hands with warm water, soap it and roll it between your palms, periodically wetting it with hot (as much as your hands can stand) water.Roll a thin rope of pink wool between your fingers. Use it to outline the muzzle, piercing it with a needle. The muzzle remains beige. And the rest of the head is covered with pink wool and felted with a needle. Using a needle, we outline the contours of the mouth. We give the head a more characteristic monkey shape - hollows near the eyes, between the eyebrows. To do this, we prick along the intended line with a needle.Body. We take a ball of beige wool by eye so that it is approximately 2-3 times larger than the head.We felt it with a needle.We leave the belly beige. The rest is pink. Using the raw felting technique, roll two small balls for the arms and two larger balls for the legs.And one more thing – one ball for the ears. We leave the balls until they dry completely, for example, on a radiator.Cut the ear ball in half. Cut off a small one. This is where the ears will be attached to the head.We felt small lumps of beige wool into the middle of the ears.We attach the ears to the head, piercing them repeatedly with a needle so that it passes through the ear into the head, so that the fibers of the head and ears are intertwined and the ears are firmly secured.We connect the head and body in the same way.Our handles will be made of beads with felted balls on the ends.We sew the ball through and back along the beads, exiting with the needle at the beginning of the second handle.We make the second handle in the same way.Both legs are made in the same way with large balls at the ends.The tail is a chain of the same beads, but without a ball at the end.Sew or glue beads as eyes, mouth, nose. The monkey is ready. We thread a loop of fishing line through it and hang the monkey in its rightful place this year.Of course, first of all, the purpose of suchtoys decorative. But not necessarily on the New Year tree. It can be used in the festive decoration of the room, and placed on the New Year's table, maybe it will "hold" a gift in its hands, etc.
