Thus, we highlight the bottom of the cradle and we begin to knit the walls.We knit the next 3 rows in the usual way and without changes (you can also knit more rows if you need higher walls). We break the thread and hide it. The base is ready.Let's start knitting, as I call it, a hoodcribs. Here I determined by eye – what width of hood do I like? I measured 12 loops on each side of the head of the product. Thus, for the hood I scored 24 double crochets – 12 on each side from the middle of the headboard. We knit the next 2 rows straight, without additions.The 4th row of the hood is knitted with decreases –So, from the 4th and 5th columns, 1 loop is knitted. From 8 and 9, 12 and 13, 15 and 16, 19 and 20, we also knit 1 double crochet. In the 5th row 3 times (I just distributed them evenly along the row) we knit 1 loop out of four. We have 10 loops left. And in the next row we knit 1 loop from them and close it, carefully hiding the tip of the thread. I should note that for a stiffer hood, you could knit it using single crochets. But I liked my version better. This makes it look a little ribbed, as if it could be folded and put away.Now we tie the product completely beautifulpattern. I chose the laziest and simplest one: I secured the thread, knitted 4 air loops, then – single crochet through the loop from the base. The result was a bridge made of air loops. These are the bridges that made my decoration.Next, I knitted a sheet from yarn of a different color to put in the cradle. This is a regular rectangle of double crochets. Gained 22 air. loops and knitted 6 rows without additions.Now the blanket. The base was knitted from threads of the same color as the cradle. This is a square of 18 double crochets wide and 8 rows long.Then I tied this square with a different color– to match the sheet. This is a wavy binding: we knit 7 double crochets from one loop, skip 2 loops, knit a double crochet, skip 2 more loops and again 7 double crochets from one loop. Continue in the same spirit.Thus, the product is ready. You can put a small doll or other toy under the blanket. A cute and memorable souvenir for happy parents is ready.
