This crochet master class contains a crochet pattern for a plaid.
This flower with all these properties hasvoluminous petals, very similar to a rose. In addition, it has another nice feature – Crochet flowers can easily be used as a base for a square motif.Any yarn is suitable for knitting flowers. In this case, Crossbred Brazil threads (50% wool, 50% acrylic, 500 m/100 g) and a hook No. 3.5 were used.
Legend:st – single crochet, ch – air loop, runway – lifting air loop, ps – half double crochet, dc – double crochet, d2n – double crochet stitch, (…) * to – repeat the specified number of times. Next is the crochet pattern. Each row of knitting a rose ends with a connecting stitch. We make a sliding loop and knit 8 tbsp inside it. We tighten the loop.
We cast on 1 ch, then (a chain of 3 chs and attach a st through 1 loop of the previous row) * 4. Thus, we got 4 arches of 3 ch each.
Now we form 1 row of 4 petals, knitting the following group of loops under each chain: (dc, dc, 3dc, dc, dc) * 4.
The next group of ch chains should be knitted withback side of the flower. We make 1 ch, and now 3 ch need to be attached to the st in the middle of the back side of the petal. And we attach the next chain of 3 ch between the petals. So we go through the entire circle and get 8 arches.
We knit the second row of petals in the same way as the first, i.e. in each chain of 3 ch we knit: (st, ps, 3dc, ps, st)*8.
Before the next row we knit 2 ch.We attach to the middle of the nearest petal on the reverse side and cast on 5 ch. We join in the middle of the next petal st and repeat this 7 more times. We formed 8 arches of 5 ch.
In which you need to knit the following combination of loops: (dc, dc, dc, 3d2n, dc, dc, dc)*8.
At the end of the row we fasten the thread – and our flower is ready!
Its inner petals turned out to be voluminous, but at the same time, not too large.
You can decorate hats, scarves, shawls, stoles, mittens, clothes, etc. with such roses. The flower should be sewn to the product using thin threads of the same tone behind the last row of petals.
The inner petals remain free.
This is how these three flowers decorated the shawl.
This beautiful flower fits very well into the square. We join in the middle of any petal st, knit 5 ch, attach to the middle of the next petal st and again we collect 5 ch.
Between the next petals we knit a leaf, which is a lush column consisting of 3s2n.
Again we dial 5 ch and join in the middle of the next petal.
And we repeat this around the entire perimeter of the flower. The leaves and ch groups between them form the corners of the square.
Now we tie the outline of the square, making 6 dc in all chains of 5 ch. We form the corners with 3 ch.
Thus, each side of the square includes 18 stitches.
We simply knit the next row with a dc, not forgetting to knit 6 dc in the corners, separated by 3 ch.
Now you can proceed to forming a patternthe famous “granny square” motif. To do this, we knit groups consisting of 3 dc, separated by 1 ch through 3 or 4 loops of the previous row (this depends on the desired size of the finished motif).
The number of additional rows can be any. Our floral motif is ready!
And it combines in the most wonderful way with the classic “granny square”!
Using similar motifs you can knit a very beautiful blanket. Which will not only warm you up, but also lift your spirits during the cold season.
