This master class will teach step-by-step drawing by airbrush drawing of a drop.
You can make a drawing in black and white orcolored, if the background on which the drops lie is a flower or a green leaf. The principle of drawing drops is as follows: first, draw the drops with a pen or pencil on regular A4 paper (thin), it is better not to use cardboard, since it is difficult to cut and the edges may turn out angular.
To cut stencils I use a special rubber cutting mat and a shaped cutter.
We also save the internal parts of the drops, theywill come in handy. It is better to do the drawing itself on thicker paper. Attach the cardboard to the tablet or canvas (vertical position) and attach a stencil on top, covering the background. For the drawing of drops, you will need three shades: dark, medium and white. Start applying the medium gray color to the top of the drops using the stencil. Hold the stencil with your hand. The bottom of the drops remains white.
We take a dark color and darken the very top of the drops using the stencil.
Then we remove the stencil and, using a reverse stencil (the droplets themselves are round), we apply a shadow under the droplets.
Next, take the white color and place highlights on the top of the drops, slightly retreating from the very top.
There can be several different shapes of highlights (dots, curved lines).
Using the medium color, add stripes to the bottom of the drops and to the center of the falling shadow.
We enhance the very top of the drop with a dark color.
And with white we again go over the highlights and the very bottom of the drop (you can use a stencil).
