This master class will tell you how to make a card-scrapbooking yourself.
In our case, the postcard will be executed in the marine theme. For its registration you will need cardboard, or a thick paper for scrapbooking and several types of napkins for decoupage.
When buying scrapbooking paper, choose the appropriate thematic pattern; it will be a ready background and will shorten your work. You will need:
- cardboard, or scrapbooking paper;
- thin foam rubber (you can use a cushioning material for household appliances);
- PVA glue;
- brushes of different widths;
- napkins with a beautiful pattern for decoupage;
- hole puncher;
- Glue gun;
- decorative elements - braid, buttons, chains, cords
Sequence of work: Prepare cardboard blank for a postcard 28x20 cm. Mark the middle for the fold. On the left half of the workpiece in the middle, draw a circle with a diameter of 7 cm. Separate from the napkin that will bethe main postcard background, the top layer with a picture. Sprinkle it from the spray gun and smooth it with a warm iron. Using a wide brush, cover the outer side of the card with PVA glue and paste the main napkin, allow to dry.
While the postcard dries, cut out of the foam rubber a circlediameter of 9 cm. Cut the internal circle with a 6 cm diameter with a manicure scissors. This will be a workpiece for the rescue circle. Next, wrap the workpiece in red with a red tape in three places, securing the braid from the inside with needles.
Stitch the whole circle with simple stitches. Tie a knitted lace.
On the postcard, glue additional elements from other napkins, before cutting them. Important! The main background should be absolutely dry. We chose the stylized image of the ship.
Decompose on the postcard decorative elements for subsequent gluing. Try several options until you find the optimal one.
Glue gun "to assemble" the composition: a life ring is glued on the outside of the postcard to the circle cut out in advance. The difference in diameter will hide the edges of the slot. Important! Hot glue should not be applied to foam rubber, but to the postcard, and only then glue the workpiece, otherwise the foam will melt. Then, in a drip fashion, fasten the cord, chain, fittings. On the inside of the postcard, make two slits for the photo. If desired, complete with pictures or decor. Fold the card in half, punch both sides at once. To insert a lace or a braid, to fasten.
Having prepared a greeting card with your own hands, you can be sure that the culprit of the celebration will surely remember and save it.
