This master class will teach you how to make an interesting craft yourself - a snowman from a sock.
As they say, all ingenious is simple, and even a child can cope with it, with a minimum of costs in terms of time and money. So, for making snowmen from socks, we will need:
- white sock
- colored sock
- a circle of cardboard about 4 cm in diameter
- filler for a snowman
- Threads (usual sewing and woolen for pompons)
- Beads, bows, hair clips, brooches, ribbons for decoration
- pencil lead.
In many master classes on manufacturingsnowmen for the body uses the upper part of the sock, which is tied with a thread at the bottom and top, but then the overall look is, in my opinion, not very aesthetic, except in this case the snowman will be unstable. Therefore, for the bull we take the toe part of the white sock and the circle of cardboard.
We put the cardboard in the toe part of the sock.
Now we need a filler. At me it is rice, but it is also possible to fill a snowman with ordinary cotton wool, cloth flaps, plastic balls, other grains or fragrant fillers (for example, dried herbs or coconut shavings with vanillin). If you also use croups as a filler, then you do not have bugs in it, you can add a little large salt. Pour the rump and carefully fill the sock, slightly stretching the fabric, so that the body is dense.
Next, cut off excess fabric and gently sewon. Now find the place where the snowman has a neck. We lightly graze the rump with fingers to make the neck stand out, and then use the thread to pull the sock in this place. Seam then hide the collar of the sweater.
Now proceed to decorating. We take a colored sock, and, the brighter it will be, the more interesting it will turn out to be a snowman. Cut it as shown in the picture. The upper part is needed for the fur coat, and the toe for the hat. I have a terry-toed sock inside, which I like most on snowmen.
Dress up our snowman. We turn the collar of the sweater and the edge of the cap. Due to the fact that the bottom of the sweater is an elastic band of the sock, it will not get out of the thread.
Press the tip of the cap inside. You can sew it up, if you suddenly feel weak. If your sock allows, then the hat can be folded sideways on the side, as if taking. My sock is too tight for this.
Our snowman now looks like this.
Next, do the pompoms on the cap. We take woolen threads and wind them on 3 fingers. The more we wind, the more fluffier the pompons will be.
Remove from the fingers and pull in the middle of the thread.
We cut with scissors from two ends.
In the end, it turns out that's what.
It remains to cut the threads and fluff pom-poms.
We make 2 such pompoms and sew on to the cap. Decorate the snowman with beads, sew the eyes and go to the nose. For this we need a pencil lead of the appropriate shade. It must be sharpened and attached to the snowman's face. The most important thing is sticking a nose with a glue gun. And the final touch - take a bit of slate and brown your cheeks. Here are such nice guys I have turned out.
