This master class will teach you how to make decoupage of coffee cans by yourself.
When we buy natural coffee beans orground, we try to make it so that it retains its aroma for a long time. In such cases, I pour it into a jar. I made this jar by decoupaging it with a slight aging effect.Everything you need to do this job:
- Glass can with lid
- Wiped Napkin
- Foam Sponge and clerical clamp
- White acrylic paint
- Napkin made of paper
- PVA glue
- Brushes flat
- AQUALAK EUROTEX
- Coffee beans
- TYTAN glue
- Toothbrush and thin stick (or toothpick)
- Paint umber burned
- Bituminous varnish
- Twine
I wiped the jar with a napkin soaked in alcohol.I primed the jar on all sides and the lid with white paint.
I dried it until it was completely dry, remembering that glass does not absorb paint. I glued the top layer of the napkin with the pattern on PVA. The jar has a convex shape, so I glued it in small fragments.
I also glued a small fragment in the center of the lid.
Банку и крышку покрыла аквалаком.
Decorated the lid with coffee beans. Glued the beans with PVA for joinery, it is thick and dries quickly.
To make the jar look a little aged, I made a splash. I added a little water to burnt umber paint and sprayed it on the lid and the jar using a toothbrush and a stick.
I dried it and varnished it. To finish the aging, I covered the edges of the lid and some parts of the can with bitumen varnish.
I decorated the jar with twine.
This is the jar I got for coffee.
