This master class will teach you how to make a postcard by yourself in the technique of quilling.
If you don't have any of these on handmaterials such as pink glitter (dry is possible), bright pink rhinestones, self-adhesive pearls (white or with a pink tint are possible), cardboard die-cuts, bright pink polka-dot ribbon. Brads are also used in the work, which can be replaced with a rhinestone if such a detail is not available. In addition, you will need pale pink cardboard, which will serve as the basis for the postcard. So, here is the list of necessary materials:
Take a square of designer paper with pale pink stripes, place the die cut on the back side and draw around the outline.
We glue the paper piece to the die cut, carefully punching a hole.
We insert the brads and secure them at the back.
Cut about 7-8 cm of bright pink polka dot ribbon. Join into a ring, secure with glue.
Press as shown in the photo, securing the joint with glue.
Cut off another 2-2.5 cm of tape and attach it to the completed piece as shown in the photo.
We fix it at the back with glue.
Cut off another 2-3 cm of ribbon and secure the pieces at the back of the bow, as in the photo.
We cut the ends into a “house” shape, and we get a very beautiful bow.
We take paper flowers and connect two of them together to make a three-dimensional flower.
You need three of these flowers, and attach a self-adhesive pearl to the center of each one.
Take white and bright pink quilling paper, 2 pieces of each, 21 cm long. Fold in half.
We glue all the strips together at the fold.
We will make a heart from the resulting part. Using a quilling tool, we twist the inner white strips of paper.
Then we twist the next two strips together on both sides.
The top pink stripe will form the outline of the heart.
We connect the edges of the remaining pink strip and fix it with glue.
We spread glue on the heart.
We attach it to the base.
Below the heart we attach a bow.
Then three flowers.
We attach the die cut at the bottom. We make strips with slanted edges from quilling paper and also decorate the card with them, adding pink rhinestones.
A very delicate, beautiful handmade card is ready!
