This master class will teach you how to make a postcard with your own hands in quilling technique.
There is special paper sold for such work.quilling, but you can also make strips of paper of the desired width yourself. To do this, you will need to use colored double-sided paper. This article presents a master class on making a greeting card with your own hands using the quilling technique. Such a unique gift cannot fail to please its recipient. The postcard will be a great gift for mom, girlfriends, grandmothers, sisters, colleagues. Due to the simplicity of the product, anyone can make such a gift. To do this, you only need to have beige cardboard, designer paper with polka dots, rhinestones, quilling paper or ordinary colored paper of beige and brown colors on hand. List of materials that will be needed to complete the work:
From designer polka dot paper we cut out a rectangle measuring 7x21 cm. Then we carefully tear off its edges “towards ourselves”.
It turns out to be such a beautiful rectangle.
On the back side of the rectangle we attach pieces of foam double-sided tape.
It is important to use foam tape, as it helps create the effect of volume in the product.
Take two pieces of brown and beige quilling paper 20-25 cm long and connect them together with glue, getting one long two-color strip.
Using a quilling tool, roll a tight roll, starting from the beige side.
We don’t unravel it, but carefully secure the edge with glue.
You will need to make 5 of these parts.
We glue the resulting circles together to form a flower.
Let's return to the base of our card. Take the openwork white ribbon, cut 5 cm (to match the width of the rectangle made of designer paper with polka dots). Attach the ribbon to the bottom of the card.
Cut off 5 cm of beige polka dot ribbon and attach it below the openwork ribbon so that it slightly covers the openwork white ribbon.
Now let's make a simple bow. Take about 6-7 cm of beige polka-dot ribbon, make a detail as in the photo, fastening the ribbon with glue in the joint area.
We connect the joint and the back part of the element with glue, and we get a beautiful and simple bow.
In the center of the bow we attach a self-adhesive rhinestone of beige color, glue the bow to the ribbon on the card to the right.
The quilling flower is also decorated with a large beige rhinestone in the center.
We apply glue on the back side.
We attach it to the postcard in the middle, a little to the right.
Take pieces of brown quilling paper about 10 cm long. Twist them with a quilling tool from one edge, but not all the way.
We coat the resulting twisted part with glue.
We attach it to the base so that the detail connects beautifully with the flower.
We make other similar details from beige andbrown quilling paper and decorate the card. Cut brown and beige quilling paper diagonally, about 4-5 cm long, so that the edges are curved. Decorate the card with the same details. Next, take small and medium-sized brown rhinestones.
We decorate the card as in the photo.
A very beautiful, delicate handmade holiday card is ready!
