This master class will teach you how to make a vase with your own hands from a modular origami.
Materials needed to make the product: • Colored office paper (yellow, orange, green) • Glue or toothpicksTo make a vase we will need modulesgreen from rectangular blanks equal to 1/16 of an A4 sheet and 1/32 of an A4 sheet. Yellow and orange modules are made from rectangular blanks, the size of which is 1/32 of an A4 sheet. From green modules of 1/16 and 1/32 we make triplets, as shown in the photo.
For the craft, you need to make only 15 triplets. Then we connect the resulting blanks into a ring.
These were the first and second rows of our vase.To make the third row we will need yellow modules. They need to be inserted with the long side outward, having first slightly turned the blank out of green modules.
In the fourth row, you need to double the number of modules. To do this, you need to put a whole module of the current row on each end of the module of the previous row.
In the fourth row you should have 60yellow modules. Rows 5-7: 60 triangular modules of yellow color. Row 8: In this row we begin to form places for arches, for this we put on 1 module of yellow color, then skip 6 ends or 3 modules, after that we string 3 more modules of the same color, after which we skip 6 ends or 3 modules again. Then we continue to put on modules according to the same pattern. As a result, you should get 6 single modules and 6 fragments of three modules. Next, you need to reduce the triplets to a single module. This should be done as shown in the photo.
From this point on, you can begin assembly andfixing the arches. Each arch consists of 31 yellow modules: 15 modules on the right, 15 modules on the left and 1 central one. We fix the arch to one end of a single module and the other end of the adjacent module. As a result, you will get an arch like this.
In total, you need to make 6 of these arches. The next row is orange arches. They need to be formed starting from the base of the yellow arch to the top on both sides.
The vase is completed with green arches. They are formed in the same way as the orange ones.
Our vase is almost finished. All that remains is to make an elegant leg. For this, we need green triangular modules made from rectangular blanks equal to 1/16 of the A4 sheet format. We connect them in threes, just like at the very beginning.
In total, you need to make 10 threes. Then we close the threes into a ring. Turning the resulting blank over, we get a leg.
You can easily attach the stem to the vase using glue or toothpicks. This is the wonderful vase for fruit and candy we have!
For durability, the product can be additionally coated with a layer of transparent varnish. Author: Korostik Nadezhda
